THE UNEXMIN PROJECT: ROBOT SUBMERSIBLES INVESTIGATE GEOLOGY AND INDUSTRIAL ARCHAEOLOGY IN ECTON MINE, STAFFORDSHIRE
Stephen Henley, Resources Computing International Ltd

The AGM will precede this talk, commencing at 5.30pm. ALL WELCOME.

Submersibles developed in the EU Horizon 2020 UNEXMIN project have been used in Ecton Mine, one of the deepest 18th century copper mins but flooded since 1858, to help answer questions about its geology and history. All investigations were by imaging and non-contact instruments.

Lectures, unless otherwise indicated, will take place in the Chapel Theatre, Penryn Campus, Cornwall. Please check the lecture details carefully for alternative venues and time. Directions to Penryn Campus can be found here.
