Energy Mines and Money, Brisbane, Australia 1st and 2nd June 2020 – Call for Speakers

At the end of 2019, the Queensland Government released more land in the coal-rich Bowen Basin for exploration. This was on top of the 11 areas released in the Bowen and Surat basins for petroleum and gas exploration; and followed the Victorian Government’s North Central Victorian Goldfields Ground Release.

Coming into 2020, the QLD Government recently committed $13.8m into finding critical minerals needed for advanced electronics and renewable technologies. With commitments like these boosting exploration, Energy Mines and Money provides a chance for you to exchange your strategies, share your research and demonstrate your solutions to the many new up and coming projects when it returns to Brisbane from 1-2 June 2020.

We have just released the preliminary program which will review exploration, investment and development opportunities for these projects, with innovation and sustainability considerations. Critical minerals supply, renewables and future hydrogen projects, coal supply and the energy transition will all be up for discussion within the two day program. View the preliminary program.

The first official program will be released in the coming month, so there are limited opportunities for to join the line-up of speakers at this year's event by sponsoring a speaking slot and sharing your expertise. See how you can get involved.
