Industrial Solutions: Geosciences

Plymouth Electron Microscopy Centre (PEMC) has a strong history of bringing industry and academics together to work collaboratively, and our Industrial Solutions events build upon this by bringing together business that have already benefitted from working with PEMC with those that wish to do so in the future. Our next event will be held on the University of Plymouth campus on the 12th of February 2020, and our outline programme is included below.

Supported by Innovate UK, UKRI, Zeiss Microscopy, the University’s own Research & Innovation team, and funded by ERDF, PEMC invites industrial partners old and new to join us for our Industrial Solutions events on the main University campus, to discover what Electron Microscopy could do for you and your business. Designed to be informative, relevant and useful in terms of practical analysis and future funding opportunities, the event will be brief but packed with useful information!

Furthermore, as our current Plymouth Materials Characterisation Project is coming to an end, the FIB-SEM will be available to those outside of the Devon region for the first time, for commercial or academic use, from July 2020. This event provides the perfect opportunity to begin discussions with a member of the PEMC team, should you have an interest in engaging with this equipment in the future.
