Last week’s fascinating and informative conference at Goonhilly Earth Satellite Station - showcasing the potential for the Application of Satellite Technologies to Mining - provided an opportunity to promote the Cornwall Mining Alliance. The Alliance helped promote the event, and a number of members attended.
Several members of the steering committee attended and were able to promote the CMA’s growing role in connecting its members to like-minded organisations, keeping them up to date with technical advances and promoting collaborative working to gain access to global business opportunities.
The day concluded with a tour of the site and the numerous operational satellite dishes now in place, providing a whole range of international data and communications services.
