The CMA and Cornwall Chamber of Commerce join up to promote mining related businesses

The Cornwall Mining Alliance is delighted to announce an association with the Cornwall Chamber of Commerce.

The Cornwall Chamber of Commerce connects and supports all businesses based in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, including those in minerals and mining, and represents their interests on a local, national and international level.

The Cornwall Mining Alliance and Chamber of Commerce have compatible goals and are aligned on fostering collaboration and supporting the growth of local companies, as well as identifying Research and Development opportunities. Both organisations also promote the export of goods and services, with the Chamber of Commerce being a partner on the Export for Growth programme.

Kim Conchie said, “Mining is an iconic and important business sector for Cornwall. With an organisation like CMA championing mining's future, Cornwall Chamber of Commerce is delighted to be working with them to promote the industry know-how based in the County, to Europe and beyond”.

As well as becoming reciprocal members, each organisation will lead and attend networking and business events across the region, to promote strategic mutual interests and the expertise and services of their membership.
