Nick Le Boutillier is an experienced Consultant Mining Geologist. Nick has five years underground experience (narrow-vein tin) as Senior Geologist at South Crofty Mine (Cornwall, UK), followed by a PhD (The tectonics of Variscan magmatism and mineralisation in South West England) at Camborne School of Mines (CSM) and four years concurrent part-time work with a property/mining survey company based in Truro, undertaking mine searches and site investigation. This was followed by a one year geochemistry research project (Baseline lithogeochemistry in a mine waste contaminated region) also at CSM.

Nick also has twelve years experience as a freelance consultant on exploration projects and mineralogical/petrological/structural projects in Europe, Canada, USA, Chile, Bolivia and Central Asia. Nick Specialises in the structural and mineralogical analysis of complex polymetallic ore bodies, skarns, hydrothermal breccias, regional and localised geochemistry, pathfinder elements, geometallurgy and refractory ores. He is experienced in narrow-vein mining, underground production, sampling, mapping and geotechnics, etc; geochemical and geophysical exploration for porphyry-style bodies, shear-hosted gold and tin/tungsten sheeted vein/stockwork and lode deposits.
