Company Profile

Cornish Tin Limited is an exploration company primarily focused on investigating mineralisation in Cornwall, SW England. Our flagship project is The Great Wheal Vor group of 26 former producing tin and copper mines in the mining district of Breage, Cornwall. Historic grade estimates indicate, if mined today, it could be in the top 3 highest grade tin mines in the world. Our mineral rights cover all minerals and aggregates, including tin, copper, lithium, tungsten and geothermal energy: all of which are critical in achieving a responsible and sustainable energy transition away from fossil fuels.

Cornish Tin’s co-founders are Sally Norcross-Webb and Clive Newall: we have a highly experienced management team with a depth of collective experience in running mining projects and taking them from exploration to production. Over 5 years of geological research by Cornish Tin has significantly advanced our understanding of the potential resource. Our Phase 1 drill program and its success in targeting both new mineralised structures and extensions of known mineralised lodes, has resulted in the development of future modelled exploration drill programs and will continue to fund future exploration.

In the race to achieve net-zero, tin is essential: it is an integral component within the technology sector. Cornwall has a crucial resource and can mitigate UK dependance on tin imports. This domestic source of critical minerals is vital if the UK is to de-risk supply chains whilst meeting ever-growing market demand. Our vision is a circular economy for critical minerals within the UK, ideally with an onshore smelting hub powered by sustainable energy, as a driving force in our fight against climate change.
