The Cornwall Mining Alliance (CMA) is proud to sponsor the Process Mineralogy ’17 conference in Cape Town, South Africa, on 22 to 24 March. The CMA will be joining other prestigious sponsors in support of this 4th international symposium on process mineralogy.

The conference is organised by CMA member MEI and has a programme of fascinating talks, including keynote lectures from the University of Utah, Pasinex Resources Ltd and the University of Liege, as well as technical workshops and an exhibition centre. Themes this year will include:

  • Geometallurgy
  • Ore characterisation
  • Mineral Liberation and Textural Analysis
  • Application of process mineralogy on site
  • Sampling and Statistics
  • Advanced Process Control

The Cornwall Mining Alliance is a network of over 75 organisations based in an area of the UK where a rich history of mining, mineral extraction, research and development has resulted in a unique concentration of experts and specialist suppliers to the global mining sector. The CMA hosts 19 companies who offer mineral processing services worldwide. These include:
