Established in 1989, Cotswold Archaeology is a Top Four supplier of professional heritage services in the UK and is a Registered Organisation with the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists. Employing over 200 professional staff we provide expert, bespoke solutions for both private and public sector clients nationwide. We offer the full range of heritage and archaeological services from our Andover, Cirencester, Exeter and Milton Keynes offices. As a limited company and a registered educational charity, we also aim to advance public education of archaeology and further the appreciation of the cultural heritage and historic environment in the United Kingdom and beyond.

Our Exeter office undertakes heritage assessment work, conservation planning, and archaeological fieldwork projects across the south-west. We have good experience of working on mining heritage from assessment to fieldwork and recording. We also provide detailed Heritage Conservation Management Plans, with experience of undertaking extensive ‘at risk’ sites such as Okel Tor Mine; a Scheduled Monument within the Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape World Heritage Site.
