The Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Local Enterprise Partnership in collaboration with Camborne School of Mines are hosting a forum on “Equipment for unlocking the CIoS Technology Metal opportunity”. The aims of this forum is to:
understand what modern exploration, mining and mineral processing equipment is unavailable to the CIoS exploration and mining sector; and
discuss how such equipment could be made available through an equipment hub/network across the region.
The envisaged outcome of this meeting will be a bid for an equipment hub/network and priority equipment for use by industry, consultancy and academia can all access as a mechanism to unlock further investment opportunities in the region.
This forum will be a hybrid event on Monday 17 October from 1 to 4pm (exact timings TBC), hosted in person in the Trevithick Room, Environment and Sustainability Institute, University of Exeter Tremough Campus, Penryn and online via Teams. PLEASE NOTE: Capacity restrictions do mean that in person attendance will initially be limited to one employee per company.
Please register your attendance by Eventbrite, https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/equipment-for-unlocking-the-cios-technology-metal-opportunity-tickets-427900912147 with your attendance preferences by 5pm on Wednesday 12 October.
