The Department for Business & Trade are organising a trade mission to Brazil during the Brazilian Mining Expo & Congress EXPOSIBRAM from the 9th – 12th September 2024.

The Geo-Resources Strategic Sector Strengthening project, which is a partnership between the Cornish Chamber of Mines and Minerals, Cornwall Mining Alliance, and the University of Exeter, is providing support to businesses to attend this. This year the event’s focus is on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) aspects.

Successful candidates will receive a travel and accommodation subsidy up to the value of £1,500, alongside access to EXPOSIBRAM 2024, and the possibility to present at the UK-Brazil Mining Forum at Exposibram.

This Forum provides a unique opportunity to showcase your expertise in ESG and Critical Minerals to a high-profile audience. We are looking for applications from companies based in Cornwall or the Isles of Scilly with progressive ESG-focused activities/practice. Successful candidates will have also completed this Sector Needs Survey.
