Cornwall Mining Consultants, the South West’s leading mundic and ground stability experts, are continuing their recent growth with three new additions to their highly experienced team as well as three in-house promotions.

Always seeking new talent, the company have recently added George Richards, Max Kennedy and Adam Wells to their team. George joins as a Graduate Field Geologist, Max taking up the role of Graduate Research Geologist with Adam assisting as Financial Administrator. Internally, Dylan Greet has taken the lead for the mining search team, having progressed to Search Coordinator and Research Geologist. Alex Botterell’s continued career development sees him become Senior Field Geologist and will now manage their site services team, coordinating all field geologists whilst remaining the focal point of contact for mining assessments, contaminated land and geotechnical services. And Chris Rogers has proudly become their Principal Mining Geologist, working as the technical lead on all mining subsidence aspects -a role which has seen him become involved in the recent mineshaft collapse in Redruth, as recently featured on ITV Westcountry.

Determined to support local individuals, promote internal talent and retain staff, Cornwall Mining Consultants strive to encourage their team members to take every opportunity offered, rewarding efforts whilst working closely together as a tight-knit team. As Dan Berriman, Managing Director explains “The amount of in-county talent is really encouraging and I have been hugely impressed with the hard work, ambition and enthusiasm of my team during the past few years. Whilst they have not been without their own challenges, these ‘Covid-years’ also brought significant growth which we harnessed together and I am delighted to be able to reward efforts with well-earned promotions”.

This growth follows a brand refresh coupled with the launch of an innovative new website for Cornwall Mining Consultants in 2022. With so much already achieved, the future looks promising for this dynamic Cornish company.
