At the end of the summer term, children from Trewirgie Junior School, Redruth celebrated their multi-media project on local mining.
The children in year 4 are all aged around 8. They researched all kinds of facts about Cornish Mining. They collaborated to make a painting of Cornwall, rehearsed and performed traditional songs, then made three videos about Geevor Mine, King Edward Mine, and South Crofty Mine. The painting is now in the foyer at King Edward Mine.
